Dr. Iden Salehzadeh
Dr. Iden Salehzadeh was born and raised in Stone Mountain, GA, and received her Bachelor’s in Biology from Georgia State University. She continued her education to receive a Master’s in Microbiology at Middle Tennessee State University as well as a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry.
While in optometry school, she interned at Tyndall Air Force base and Malcom-Randall VA Clinic in Florida, where she gained further experience in glaucoma and cataract evaluations, dry eye, ocular disease, and diabetic retinal exams. She also has experience with comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, pediatrics, and LASIK/PRK evaluations. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, Women’s Ophthalmic Association, Greater Atlanta Optometric Association, and participated in the GOA Leadership program.
Dr. Iden enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with her dogs, friends, and family.

Darcy is a licensed optician with over 25 years of experience . As The Eye Den’s office manager, she oversees day-to-day operations, ensures a smooth patient experience, and supports the team in delivering the highest level of care. A proud veteran, she brings dedication, precision, and a caring spirit to everything she does. She is committed to creating an inviting, stress-free environment for patients and staff alike. When she’s not at the office, Darcy enjoys spending time with her family, grandkids, and her dogs.
Shonell Gomes
Optical Sales
With over 13 years of experience in the optical field, Shonell Gomes, brings a strong background in customer service and patient care. She specializes in frame styling and selection, as well as dispensing contact lenses and eyeglasses to meet each individual’s visual and lifestyle needs. Since 2019, she has worked closely with Dr. Iden, continuing to build her expertise while currently pursuing her optician license. Known for her attention to detail and patient-first approach, she is committed to helping every patient feel comfortable and confident in their eyewear choices. Outside of work, Shonell enjoys cooking, exploring global cuisines, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
